Scope of Work:

Information Gathering

Client will provide:

* The PHP script files (e.g., in a .zip archive). Usually if you bought from CodeCanyon or Codester it can be found under downloads.
* Specific installation instructions for the script (if available).
* Shared hosting account credentials (FTP/SSH access, control panel access if needed).
* Database requirements (whether a new database is needed, or if an existing one will be used).

Compatibility Assessment
Service provider will:

* Review PHP script files to understand the basic structure and functionality.
* Verify compatibility between the script's requirements (PHP version, extensions) and the capabilities of the client's shared hosting environment.
* Communicate any potential compatibility issues to the client.

Installation

Service provider will:
* Connect to the client's shared hosting account via FTP (or SSH, if available).
* Upload the PHP script files to the appropriate web root directory (e.g., "public_html").
If needed, create a new MySQL database (or identify the existing database to be used).
* Execute the script's installation file (e.g., "install.php"), if applicable, and follow provided instructions.
* Update any configuration files with the correct database credentials.
* Testing and Verification

Service provider will:

* Access the installed script through the client's web domain.
* Test core functionalities of the script to ensure proper operation.
* Inform the client of any errors or unexpected behavior during testing.

Delivery and Documentation

Service provider will:

* Confirm with the client that the script is installed and functioning as expected.
* Provide basic notes or a brief guide on accessing and using the script (if relevant).

Exclusions:

** Script Development/Customization: This SOW does not include modification of the provided PHP script code or extensive customization.
Troubleshooting Complex Issues: In-depth troubleshooting of errors unrelated to the installation process itself may require additional work. **
** Hosting Upgrades: If the PHP script's requirements necessitate changes to the client's shared hosting plan, this will be out of scope.
Assumptions **
** The client's shared hosting account supports standard PHP execution and MySQL databases (if the script requires them). **
** The client has provided accurate information and credentials. **

Timeline:

Estimated time for completion will depend on script complexity. A timeline will be provided after the initial information gathering and compatibility assessment.

Additional Notes:

The service provider will prioritize the security of the client's hosting account throughout the process.
The client is responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate license or rights to use the PHP script.

Prerequisites:
* PHP Script Files: Have a copy of the PHP script ready, often in a compressed format like a .zip file.
* Shared Hosting Account: You'll need an active shared hosting account that supports PHP execution.
* Database Information (if needed): If the script requires a database, have these details from your hosting provider:
Database name
Database username
Database password

Create a Database (if needed):
Log in to your hosting account's control panel (often cPanel).
Find the "MySQL Databases" or similar section.
Create a new database and note down the database name, username, and password (will be used for installing).
Configure (if needed):
Important Security Notes:

Regular Updates: Keep your PHP script up-to-date with the latest releases for security and bug fixes.
Strong Passwords: Use strong, unique passwords for your database and any admin areas of the script.
Backups: Create regular backups in case something goes wrong.
